Upon entering the path taht takes us to the gardens of "Torres Agrelo", we can see to our right grape vines that are typical for the wines produced in this area, the famous wine "Albarino" produced in this region of the "Rías Bajas", is known for its special taste to our left along this path are the camellias that welcome us along with other decorative species.

The "Pazos gallegos" always built with granite and with their exterior decor and flowered gardens blend in beautifully with the surrounding landscape.

These "pazos" that are usually located in the countryside, even though in most cases were the summer homes of thr upper classes have maintained a strong bond with the farming community surrounding them, but always the separation of classes was maintained by the massive gardens made up of exotic variety of flowers that accentuated the aristocratic residence to distinguish it from its surroundings. The religious lives of the upperr class are evident because of the small chapels that are present next to the main "pazo".

At the end of the path, just before turning to the "pazo", you will find a botanical jewel, possibly the only one of its type in Europe for its size and beautiful and scented flowers.

It is the great sasanqua camellia "Baron de Soutelinho" of the "Torres Agrelo" that is unique

It is a special tree with scented flowers that always surprises those that do not know the qualities of certain types of thr camellia plants.

Many of the camellia flowers, year after year, in the months of October, November nad December come to enjoy these magnificent blossoms.
