In this same garden other examples of the old camellia sasanqua can be found.

Next to the sasanqua camellia there are one of the most important gallegean camellia japonica "Magnoliaeflora Alba (syn. Hagoromo),protected from the sun by a large Criptomeria japonica "Elegans", which is 23 meters tall.

The age of this garden dates back to the middle of the 19th. century and the magnificent climate and soil, gives us, great examples of these blooming species, especially those located in the winter garden. The unfortunate decision of Don Conceptp Lopez Lorenzo, the owner confirms one test of the age of this garden, in 1918, when his workers were ordered to cut down a huge eucalyptus tree. The rapid growth of this tree at the "Torres Agrelo" required that it be cut down because the eucalyptus was unknown specie to this area until early part of the 20 th. century this confirmed taht this tree and garden existed for years before the end of the 19 th. century.

The "Eucalyptus globulus" specie was brought to Galicia a few decades earlier by the monk Salvador Salgado when he brought seeds from a church in Australia and gave them to his friends whom were owners of "Pazos" in the area to be planted as decorative plants.
